GRETTA VAN RIEL – HEY INFLUENCERS

In 2014, with only a few dollars in her bank account, then 22-year-old Gretta launched her first start up Skinny Me Tea, which she scaled to $600,000 in revenue in just six months. Since then, she’s founded another five businesses, including the 5th Watches and Hey Influencers, and has grown her social following to an audience of 16 million people. In this episode of lady-brains we spoke with Gretta about how she recovered after losing $1.3 million worth of stock in the early stages of Skinny Me Tea, how she achieved $100k in the first day of trade when she and her co-founders launched the 5th watches, and the process of raising seed funding for her new venture, Hey Influencers.
