LINDY RAMA-ELLIS - FIG FEMME

HOW A TRIP TO HONG KONG CHANGED THE TRAJECTORY OF HER FIRST BUSINESS, MILK & CO

In this episode, we’re chatting to Lindy Rama-Ellis. She is the co-founder of MILK & Co., a beauty brand she established in 2008 with her then husband Aussie Olympic gold medallist, Michael Klim.

Now she’s onto a new venture – Fig Femme – an intimate wellness brand with a focus on starting a conversation around topics that are traditionally taboo. She’s creating products to help women look after the most intimate parts of their body, an idea that she has been forming since giving birth to her first child.

Lindy chatted with us from Bali about the deeper purpose behind Fig Femme, as well as the challenges and criticism she’s faced launching a somewhat controversial brand into a conservative Australian market.

We look forward to seeing what the future looks like for this business, but we started back at the beginning, when Lindy set up her first wellness brand, MILK & Co...
